What makes Pro Health different? Our team members! They’re the first faces you see as soon as you walk in the doors, and their hard work and knowledge gets you feeling your best, fast. Every quarter, we’re highlighting a different team member, giving you a chance to get to know the amazing professionals providing you care.
Get to know Blake Smith! If you’ve visited the Collierville clinic where he’s based, you’ve probably run into him a time or two. However, there’s a chance you’ve seen him at other places around the city. Blake is always willing to pitch in at other clinics when they need the help – and he’s a full-time firefighter and EMT with the Germantown Fire Department.
Originally from Selmer, Tennessee, Blake moved to Memphis about 20 years ago. After graduating from high school and moving to a different area, he had free time on his hands and decided to start training with the local fire department. This is when he realized he wanted to be a full-time firefighter and EMT. He officially started in the fire service in 2009 as a volunteer and served in the volunteer/part-time capacity for six years. Then, he joined the Germantown Fire Department, where he’s worked for 10 years now.
Blake joined our team nearly two years ago and has been an invaluable asset ever since. Balancing his demanding roles as a Pro Health team member and a first responder, he remains driven by a deep commitment to personal growth and excellence. His dedication to continuously improving his skills not only enhances our team but also has a meaningful impact on the care our patients receive. Blake’s passion for growth and service truly reflects the spirit of Pro Health.
His favorite Pro Health service is IV hydration therapy. He enjoys seeing people almost instantly feel better after they get their bag of fluids with vitamins and add-ons. Blake enjoys getting to interact with patients that visit the clinics, and he enjoys the camaraderie with his fellow team members. He says it’s refreshing to work with good people in a relaxed, positive atmosphere.
